Movie Limousines?

This weekend are you planning to head out to your local movie theater to see the latest Hollywood thriller or independent hit… or perhaps a romantic comedy if it’s your girlfriend or wife’s pick this time.  Regardless, we’re guessing dinner is on the agenda before the film too, right?

SF restaurant

If your restaurant choice is close to the theater, you may get lucky and be able to park in one place for the entire night. If it isn’t, make sure to allow extra time to find a parking space at the theater after dinner.  In addition, you’re probably going to consume a couple adult beverages at the restaurant – and now days, most theaters also server drinks, so best to sort out driving duties beforehand.

DD

Of course if neither of you wants to be the DD, you can always hop on public transit, take a taxi, or go for one of the unregulated ride share guys in their economy sedan so you can listen to whatever overly loud music playlist he feels everyone should hear because it’s his car.  Or, you could go with a professional, licensed chauffeur in a high end luxury sedan or stretch limousine.  Just saying…

If you go with that choice, you will be well taken care of – by the same driver – the whole night.  From the pickup at your home, to the restaurant, to the theater, and finally back again at the end of the night.  No concerns about traffic, navigation, parking or drinking and driving.  Just a relaxing, elegant amazing night out.

So if this is the way you’d like to spend your next Friday or Saturday night , take a look at Bay Area limousine fleet, choose your ride, then give us a call to book it.  Even if the restaurant and movie aren’t as great as you expect, your night out will be!

What Type of Limo Do I Need (part 2)

If you read our previous post, we were discussing the various types of limousines available. We left off with the Cadillac Escalade super stretch SUV limo. If something a little larger than the Escalade is needed, there’s the Hummer H2 super stretch SUV limo, which can hold up to 20 people. They are available in black and white, and are perfect for making a statement. you will be noticed in this vehicle!

Hummer H2

Moving away from the SUV type limos, another option for those who either don’t like the look of the SUV limos, or don’t need that much space, is the Lincoln MKT stretch limo. They are available in black and white, and can hold up to 10 passengers. It’s similar to the classic Lincoln stretch limos, but with a more striking look. These are very popular for weddings, proms, or just nights on the town.

A couple other options are the Mercedes Sprinter Coach, and the party buses. The Mercedes can hold up to 14 people, and it’s possible to stand up inside. These are great for all occasions, and are often the choice of clients who don’t want to “stand out” like they would if they were in a flashier stretch limousine.

For large groups (up to 40 people), your choice should be a party bus (or a corporate bus, depending on your particular event or need). Most of them include a restroom, and some even include a stripper pole (use your imagination there). These are ideal for corporate outings, bachelor parties / bachelorette parties, concerts, etc. They are one of the most popular luxury transportation options today.

Finally, smaller vehicle choices such as Lincoln Town Car / Lincoln MKT are ideal for airport transfers, hourly tours, or corporate needs. These are not stretched vehicles, are definitely understated, and come in classic black with dark tinted windows for privacy.

There are also passenger vans / cargo vans, and other vehicle options. You can see for yourself by visiting our Bay Area limousine fleet page.  So no matter what your need, there is bound to be a limousine to suit your needs. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions, or if you’d like to stop by and check some of these limos out in person.

What Type of Limo Do I Need? (part 1)

While we at Bay Area Limousine eat sleep and breath limousines, we realize that most of you out there do not. And as a result, often times our prospective customers are a little bit confused over what type of limousine will be best for them, or their particular group or event. So, we will try to go through the various types of limousines we offer, and hopefully shed some light on the subject of choosing your perfect limousine.

In the above picture, you can see some general examples of several limousine types, and the differences between them. Starting from the left, you will see a white Hummer H2, two different Cadillac Escalade super stretch SUV limos, a 24-passenger party bus and 32-passenger party bus, and a Chrysler 300 stretch limo. While any of these vehicles could be referred to as a “limousine”, they are all quite different – which you can clearly see. Which one do you need? Read on…

The limousine above is a 14 passenger Cadillac Escalade stretch SUV limousine. This is the preferred limousine for weddings, bachelor parties and more. It’s a stylish yet not over the top white, with plenty of room to move around.

Next we have another 8-passenger Lincoln MKT limo, only this one is pearl white, and has no 5th door. These are also used for weddings, but are also very popular for nights out on the town, concerts, proms, tours, pretty much anything. In general, these are one of our most popular choices of vehicles, and probably what most people think of when they think “limousine”.

Next we have a Hummer H2 super stretch SUV limo. Depending on the configuration, and the size of the passengers, these can hold up to 20 people. We have them in white and black, and they make a great limo for things like wine tours, birthday parties, or taking the office out to a fancy dinner!

We’ll go into more limousine types and their uses in our next post. Keep an eye out for part 2!

Business Travel with a Car Service

Any traveling business professional will tell you, staying productive on the road can be difficult to do.  With varying transportation environments, including taxi cabs, buses, airplanes and airports making productive travel so difficult, finding the focus and quiet time to accomplish work tasks can be nearly impossible.

Some may suggest the car rental option, but with that you’re facing navigating unfamiliar roads and highways, parking, and of course, a complete loss of productivity while you’re doing the actual driving.

Prep time for meetings is of the utmost importance, and doing it in a timely fashion can be difficult, due to tight time tables and various locations.  And while public transportation and/or ride shares may work for airport or hotel rides, booking a chauffeured luxury vehicle is the only way to go when it comes to the corporate road show.

A limousine is an amazingly productive mobile office.  You’ll have peace and quiet to read reports, look over meeting notes, practice your presentations, and if you need it… take a nap.  You’ll be riding in a comfortable seat, with no worries about traffic or navigation.

And should you need to make some phone calls (and what executive doesn’t?) doing so in a cab or bus isn’t going to go well with all the noise.  And don’t count on privacy either.

bay-area-corporate-transportation

A luxury sedan or limousine gives you the privacy, space and quiet environment needed to make phone calls without concerns of someone overhearing, or outside distractions you’d find with public transportation.  Relax in the back with the privacy partition up, and do what you need to do before your next meeting.

With a large fleet of sedans, SUVs and stretch limos, you’re sure to find the ideal vehicle for your budget and space needs.  Take a look at our Bay Area limousine fleet page to get started, then submit a free online price quote.  From executive SUVs to Lincoln MKTs and Town Cars, we’ve got you covered.
