The night prior to your event our wonderful chauffeur’s are getting familiarized with your day, afternoon or evening. It’s not just a matter of plugging in different addresses into a navigation system. Fall & Winter Travel

Limousine Safety Comes First

Not long ago, a limousine heading to a bachelorette party burst into flames in the San Francisco area, killing five female passengers, including the bride-to-be, while four other women managed to escape, according to the mother of one of the survivors.

This was a terrible tragedy that could have been avoided.  In that light, we’d like to offer a few tips to help you make a more informed decision when it comes time to rent your own limousine.

 

1) Always make sure the company of choice is licensed and insured.

2) Always make sure the vehicle of choice is new or late model.

3) Do your research on how the company handles its vehicles – routine maintenance etc.

4) When getting into your limo, discuss with your driver the how to’s:

a) How to unlock the back doors?

b) How to control the partition?

c) How to get in contact with the driver?

5) Research, Research, Research!

6) Do not simply go for the best priced company!

7) Go for a company of quality, integrity, and one that is known for outstanding customer service.

8) Don’t overload your limousine regardless what anyone tells you- know the maximum capacity and comply.

9) Plan: have everything planned out so the driver isn’t surprised and under any stress – it will go smoothly for everyone!

10) Ask as many questions as you want – the only stupid one is the one you didn’t ask.

Unfortunately, accidents happen.  But being prepared can mean the difference between a good outcome, and a bad one.  Make sure that you did all you could to understand the company of choice, the vehicle you’re getting, who your driver is and his contact number.
